Synopsis
This film was to follow a young boy who is separated from his father during World War II. The boy discovers the Island of Sodor where he meets Thomas the Tank Engine and ventures out to find his father. This was to be the second feature film in the franchise (following “Thomas and the Magic Railroad” in 2000) and was set to be released in 2010. Due to multiple production issues, the film was constantly delayed until it was finally cancelled in 2015, when HIT Entertainment closed down and sold its ownership to Mattel.
