As a person who did not know history, I was very interested in the details of what happened
Synopsis
During the 1972 Munich Olympics, an American team of sports journalists was involved in covering the hostage crisis involving Israeli athletes. All performances are believable, the comedy is in all the right places, and the pace and timing of the performance do not make the viewer look towards the exit before the credits begin.
They’ve done a solid job of not setting up storylines
Some may be tired of the lack of change of scenery, but I think it worked in this case. I think they wanted you to feel that the control room is your world, and for you to feel the same as they did on this eventful day.
To make you think without moralizing
They touched the political and emotional elements perfectly. Mixing footage from real events, including footage with live actors, definitely involves the viewer in what is happening.
Although I don’t plan on re-watching this film over and over again, it is a very well made film that I would recommend to friends who like this type of film
Nice touch.
