Genevieve lives as a shy and neurotic book editor, shunned by her colleagues, and tries to become the next ghostwriter on her publisher’s best-selling crime series. But no one, not even her therapist, knows that Genevieve is secretly battling dissociative identity disorder (DID). While her life at home and in society is a constant struggle to avoid the stress that could drive her to her knees, the series and its occasional depiction of DID begin to unsettle Genevieve as she reels back from flashbacks she had no part in creating.
