A drug rehabilitated lawyer with two ex-wives, a daughter and a penchant for cars is thrust into a high-profile case after the death of a friend. The series takes that, adds a strong cast, well-crafted and delivered dialogue and an interesting plot, and moves along at a good pace. Some cinematography choices are awkward, particularly the shifting focus shots and some orange actors, though overall it works as it should. Mickey’s driver, Izzy is often used as a plot device, but despite being obvious, it feels natural and consistent with the story.
